Host an event that reinforces the importance of recruitment. and proper selection. in relation to the overall business goals for agents and staff. Encourage agents to tell stories of how they were recruited, why they chose your firm and why they didn’t choose competitors’ firms.

Invite a key-note speaker – from recruiting, other industries, etc. – to tell recruiting “war” stories that energize agents and staff about their role in bringing in successful recruits.

Finally, discuss your plans to compensate agents who successfully recruit over a specific period of time. Remember to let them know that you are not requesting that they devote a significant amount of time to the recruiting process. Let your current agents know that when they refer a prospect to the assessment they will qualify for certain perks.
