Keller Williams Realty is an Open Books Company

At Keller Williams®, our books are open to our associates.  On a monthly basis the Market Center financials are reviewed by our Associate Leadership Council.

THERE ARE NO SECRETS FROM OUR ASSOCIATES

Since we are all business partners and since we profit share together, everyone has the right to see the profit and loss statements for the Market Center every month. 

BUDGET ACCOUNTABILITY

It is the responsibility and concept of the Associate Leadership Council that takes action and participates in holding ownership and management accountable for staying within the expense budget, and the associates actually have a say in where the money they pay to the company goes!

BUSINESS ACCOUNTABILITY

By allowing our associate/partners to study and understand the importance of financial statements, they can implement these same business systems and disciplines into their real estate business and personal lives.

At Keller Williams Realty, The Owners Share the Profits!

  • Profit Share Does Not Come From Associate Commissions. It is not an override on another agents commissions, or a kick back on your own commissions. It comes from the Owners’ Profits!
  • Profit Sharing is a means for distributing the wealth and rewarding associates for growing the company. Growing the company is how any owner from any real estate company makes their money – and now YOU can too!
  • The program allows any Keller Williams® associate, affiliate broker, or employee the opportunity to participate in the profits they help generate without assuming any financial risks.
  • It is not a pyramid system! This is what other Brokers are telling agents from preventing them from learning the truth.
  • You are vested after three years. You can retire, quit real estate, or even join a different company – and still get your profit sharing
  • Profit Sharing is willable, inheritable, and can be passed on to who ever you choose to receive your profit sharing.

Mike Bastian’s Profit Share Story

In 2002, when Mike Bastian was working for his previous broker, he was told by the broker that Keller Williams was a Multi-Level Pyramid scheme company. Mike believed him, and did not come find out the truth firsthand until 9 months later! He later learned that this is what brokers tell their agents to prevent them from learning the truth first hand about Keller Williams Realty, and prevent them from leaving their company.

In 2003, Mike learned the truth about profit sharing, and how a real estate company runs, grows, and makes profits. Mike is now an owner of 3 Keller Williams Realty offices.

In 2006, Mike’s office shared over $160,000 back to the agents!

Then passive income he has earned from profit sharing, has allowed Mike to pursue his career passions. In 2007 Mike became an International Trainer and Coach for Keller Williams Realty. Mike has taken advantage of the possibilities, career paths, and opportunities that we offered to him, and to all associates at Keller Williams Realty. These opportunities and career paths were not available at any other real estate company!

Associate/Partner Compensation

Keller Williams® is committed to the concept of associate/partner compensation being more than just commission programs.

Commission compensation at Keller Williams® is Low Risk-High Keep.  Keller Williams® is able to accomplish this through a cap system.  Two payments are capped:

  1. The amount you pay the International Franchise
  2. The amount you pay your local office.

Agents are on a competitive commission split, and most importantly, are getting value for what they are paying to the company. Then the profits are split with the agents.
